All bicycles will be delivered in their original box (80% assembled) to both Peninsular and East Malaysia to ensure better protection during transit. Customers are required to complete the assembly of the seatpost, handlebar, stem, front wheel, and pedals (if included).

If I purchase this bike, can I bring it to Rodalink outlets for free assembly?

Yes, you can. But before you go, kindly inform us which date and time you bring the bike for assembly do we will communicate with staffs and provide free assembly code to you too.

Polygon Bike Warranty

Warranty Coverage
1. Polygon warranty only covers bike frame and non-suspension fork.
2. ENTITY-branded parts and electricity components equipped on E-bike.
3. Paint and sticker are not covered in this warranty.
4. Warranty does not cover wear items such as: bearings, bushings, tires, tubes, rims, brake pads, brake and shifter cables-casings-hose, chains, gears, handle grips, bar tapes, and saddles which are subject to varying wear life depending on use, load, weather, road conditions etc.
(*) Premature wear or defect will be taken into account in any claim involving a wear item.

Warranty Coverage
1. Marin warranty only covers bike frame and non-suspension fork.
2. The complete bicycle is warranted for one year (from the date of purchase), including all original parts on the bicycle except tires, tubes, chains and other wear & tear items. Paint and decals are covered under this warranty.
Warranty is valid only for
1. Bike/frame that is bought from Marin authorized dealers/shops (proven by official invoice/receipt/warranty card).
2. The warranty is only valid for the original owner and is not transferable.
3. Registered purchase at  www.marinbikes.com  or through Marin authorized dealers/shops.
Warranty may become void if

Bikes that have been modified/improved non-technically such as (repaint etc.) or technical modifications/improvements such as (addition/reduction of structures and parts on the bikes) which are not recommended/incompatible, maintenance – improper use, and involved in an accident.
Bike/frame is purchased second-hand or in not-new condition without the original packaging.
The frame number or other identification (such as decals) have been altered, defaced or removed.
Damage occurring during delivery of the products (such claims must be presented directly to the delivery party).
The original decal / sticker is modified / removed.
The bike is an ex-prototype or ex-demo bike.

Submitting Warranty Claim Guidelines
1. Contact the dealer/shop where the bike was originally purchased and describe the issue(s).
2. Bring the bike to the dealer/shop and present your ID card.
3. Warranty claims will be forwarded to Marin Warranty Team with following evidence:
4. The defective part(s) and bike may need to be sent to Marin distributor when necessary at owner’s cost.
(*) The final decision of every warranty claim is taken under Marin discretion.
Limitation of Warranty
1. Parts/components/spare parts/wear & tear out on the bike are not covered by the warranty.
2. Claims for all non-Marin brand parts will be handled by each brand's warranty policies.

How to Register Warranty
You can register your Tern bike for warranty through the official Tern website. By registering your bike, you will indirectly become a member of Tern and will get the following benefits:
1. New product information or claim & recall if any.
2. Special offer from Tern.

Warranty Period & Coverage

First 1 year	Bicycle support components from the Tern or BioLogic brands, if they are factory defects/damaged due to production defaults and are not caused by use or accidents by consumers.

Warranty Terms & Conditions
All warranties provided by Tern have the following terms & conditions:
1. Normal use with recommended loads and road terrain.
2. Assembly or installation of parts and supporting components that do not comply with standards.
3. Damage due to non-compliance with the owner's manual/manual book.
4. Modification by adding or subtracting bicycle components that don’t comply with the standard specification (details can be checked here).
5. The outer paint (clear varnish coating) that fades.
6. Damage due to natural disasters such as: floods, tsunamis, fires, etc.
7. Demo/Prototype bikes are not covered by the warranty.

BICYCLE TYPE

In deciding on the most suitable bike for you, it is best to consider what sort of riding you would like to do.

Road bikes are suitable for long rides on smooth roads. They typically feature 700c wheels with relatively high gearing. They feature narrow tyres and no suspension, making them very efficient. Road bikes weigh approximately 10kgs and are designed for speed.
Mountain bikes are the most versatile bicycle, being suited for off road riding but are also very useable in an urban environment. They feature suspension, as well as a more up right seating position which makes for a more comfortable ride. Wide knobbly tyres provide better grip on dirt and in the wet. The gearing is wider and lower, allowing you to get up hills more easily than a road bike. The bikes weight about 15kg.
Hybrid Bikes combine the features of road bikes, with large 700c wheels, together with a MTB frame. They are designed for the urban environment, with a more comfortable riding position of a mountain bike, but with similar efficiency of a road bike.
Cruiser/Town bikes are all about comfort and style. Wide tyres soak up the bumps, the relaxed seating position is much kinder on the back. They are not designed with performance in mind, and are often limited to a small range of gears and can be quite heavy in comparison to other bike types.

Over the years manufacturers have simplified the sizing of bikes into regular categories ; small, medium and large. Town/Cruiser
Cruisers bikes come in one size fits all. There is plenty of adjustment in the saddle height as well as the handlebars.
