The top-end Shimano SH-RC902 S-PHYRE shoes are Shimano’s pro-level road race shoes that are equally at home in the pro peloton, or on your local competitive group ride. The RC902’s feature an exceptional level of stiffness 12/12 on Shimano’s stiffness scale eliminating nearly any flex associated with transferring rider power output to the pedals. Rather than making the entire shoe uncomfortably stiff, Shimano cleverly engineered the RC902 to be stiff only where needed, maintaining comfort and off-bike flexibility for real world conditions. The heel cup is designed with anti-twist stabilization, preventing the rider’s foot from shifting laterally and losing efficiency. Dual low-profile BOA Li2 dials provide precision adjustment and virtually eliminate hotspots. Shimano has a reputation for exceptional engineering, and their decades of knowhow is perfectly embodied in the S-PHYRE RC902 shoes. High performance footwear is comfortable yet again.
