Product Description

Whether you're commuting to work or you're going out for the weekend cruise, you'll want a bike that is comfortable and highly versatile. The Marin Muirwoods 700c Bike is a highly versatile steel urban bike that is loaded with features. The frame uses disc brakes and has rack and fender mounts so you can easily transform this into your daily commuter or light-duty touring bike. It has reflective frame graphics and tire sidewalls for enhanced visibility in low-light conditions.

The Muirwoods comes with a MicroSHIFT Advent X 10-Speed drivetrain. This includes a cassette that has a hill-crushing 11-51T gear range that makes climbing and pedaling through rough terrain a breeze. Tektro M275 hydraulic disc brakes provide reliable stopping power so you can ride with confidence. Marin double-wall aluminum wheels are paired with Schwalbe Citizen tires that are puncture-resistant.

    The Muirwoods uses a butted Series 1 4130 CrMo frame and fork with 29” tires, disc brakes, full fender and rack mounts, and two bottle bosses. The Muirwoods RC uses a double butted Series 2 CrMo frame with sliding dropouts for internally geared hub compatibility and large volume 650B wheels and tires.

    Hydraulic disc brakes provide smooth, controlled stopping in all conditions with minimal maintenance.
  • REFLECTIVE GRAPHICS AND TIRES
    The Muirwoods features reflective frame graphics and tire sidewalls add visibility for urban commuting.
  • MUIRWOODS RC
    The Muirwoods RC is the ultimate mountain bike based commuter with a Series 2 CrMo frame featuring new slider dropouts for chain tensioning, an internally geared 8-speed Shimano Nexus hub, and 650Bx47mm “Road Plus” tires that accelerate quickly and roll almost as fast as skinnier road tires while eating up potholes and curbs.
