The Shimano Tiagra BL-4700 brake levers only fit road bikes with flat handlebars, not drop bars. They can be combined with rim brakes, cantilever brakes, mechanical disc brakes and even V-brakes. On the aluminium housings there are 2.5-finger brake lever, also made of aluminium. The revised Super SLR technology ensures optimum brake power control and reliable response. In combination with the SL-4700 or SL-4703 shit levers, this results in top equipment for the control unit.
