Frame and Suspension
The Strattos S5 combines lightweight and reliable ALX Endurance Road alloy frame that is comfortable to ride for daily commuting. The advance hydroforming technology increases the bike's stiffness and reduce its weight. As for the fork, the Strattos S5 has an ACX Advance Endurance Carbon Tapered fork with full carbon steerer.
Groupset
Polygon always pair their bikes with the latest groupsets. This is proven when Strattos S5 trusts the 22-speed Shimano 105 groupset to power the bike. A full compact drivetrain delivers smooth gear-shifting experience that keep a high cadence on the steepest of uphills and still gives enough gears to sprint downhills too. Braking performance is optimized with the new Shimano 105 dual-pivot brakes offering more braking power and modulation.
Other Features
For the wheelset, there is the new Entity XL2 clincher with sealed bearings, 30 mm semi aero rims, and a machined alloy brake surface. As the lightest wheelset in its category, the XL2 collaborates well with the Strattos S5 to keep the rotational mass as low as possible.
