Frame and Suspension
Polygon Strattos S2 is made of ALX alloy frame with internal routing cable system. Designed with the latest geometry structure, this bike doesn’t follow the aggressive posture of the pure racing bikes. Instead, it has a slightly more upright riding position for better comfort and road visibility. Additionally, Polygon has fitted an ACX carbon fiber fork to reduce road vibrations and provide a better handling of the bike. The use of carbon material also helps to reduce the overall bike weight.
Groupsets
Drivetrain in Polygon Strattos 2 is powered by Shimano Claris. As the most popular Shimano road groupset, Shimano Claris has been known for its clean gear transition and has a similar quality of high-end groupsets. There are 18-speed options to choose for facing the slopes or up hills. All come with an integrated crankset and Hollowtech bottom bracket to cut down on the weight and improve the bike performance.
