Frame and Suspension
The frame is made of a strong and reliable Hi-Ten Steel Kids frame which is designed for all day riding comfort. An eye-catching yet attractive color combination of bright orange and light blue make this bike look more fun, specifically for kids. Appealing graphics and details are also put on the frame design. At the front part of the bike, a Hi-Ten Steel Kids rigid fork is paired with the frame. The fork is connected to the head part where the handlebar is built on. The cockpit also comes with kids specific handlebar and soft rubber handle grips for optimum comfort.
Groupsets
For the gear operations of this bike, a Steel 1/2” x 1/8” x 36T Crankset is combined with KMC-C410 chain to serve utmost reliable gear system. A polypropylene plastic-made chain cover is installed to protect components from dirt and protect your child from the chain. Another essential part on bike, especially for the riding safety is its responsive brake system. The brake system uses smooth and crisp Steel Caliper Brake which is controlled through the plastic brake levers.
Other Features
At the bottom of the bike, a smooth rolling wheelset is installed. It consists of dependable Steel Rims with Steel Hubs 16H and stainless-steel spokes. The 16” x 2.125” tires are paired with a set of training wheels to help kids gain balance and confidence on their first bike. The new Rascal 16 includes a set of front and rear fender to protect against dirt and splash.
