Frame and Suspension

The Cascade 4 is built with a lightweight and durable AL6 XC Sports frame. The modern frame geometry makes riding in a long-haul more comfortable. It is also equipped with 100 mm Suntour XCM fork to absorb more shocks on rocky terrains. The thicker 30 mm stanchions mean the forks won’t flex under load and giving a smooth ride when going through obstacles.

Groupsets

The groupset uses a combination of Shimano Altus as the front derailleur and Shimano Tourney as the rear derailleur. The 2018 version's rear derailleur has been improved to handle 8-speed cassette. When combined with the front derailleur, the Cascade 4 has a total of 24 gear options that the riders can operate. With various gear combination, the bike is able to overcome any kinds of rough terrains. Meanwhile, the braking system is handled by Tektro disc brakes, which is very responsive even in wet weather.

Other Features

For the wheelset, Polygon Cascade 4 comes with 27.5” double wall alloy rims for better strength and endurance. The rims are proven to lessen rolling resistance, making it more stable and rigid. With only 15.1 kg, the Cascade 4 is easy to carry on as you go. Ideal for day-to-day use and getting around the city.
