Built from Bolinas Ridge family, the bike is mainly objected for recreational purposes with a medium stance for stability and predictable handling. Frame and Suspension
Marin Wildcat Trail 1 is built of series 1 6061 aluminum alloy with women’s fit geometry. The frame is integrated with 27.5” wheels to better fit most riders as well as to create a more lightweight and responsive bike. The suspension fork uses 100mm (80mm size XS and S) SR Suntour XCT-DS with custom coil spring. With the given frame and suspension, the Wildcat Trail 1 is surely a comfortable and safe right for women.
Groupset
The Wildcat Trail 1 incorporates Shimano Tourney 3x7-speed drivetrain that provides a coherent system appearance and solid functions. The front derailleur is equipped with Shimano Tourney TX500 which fits top or bottom routing. KMC Z50 chains type has two functions; the outer part ensures accurate riding within the drivetrain while the inner part encourages rapid articulation. As for brakes, it uses Tektro MD280 mechanical disc brakes that are highly responsive, lightweight and easy to maintain.
Other features
Designed for women, Marin Wildcat Trail 1 features women-specific saddle, narrower handlebar, and adjustable reach brake levers. The bike comes in two choices of frame colors; gloss black for a more sporty look and magenta for a more feminine look. The bike has fulfilled WSD (Woman Specific Design) standard with outstanding design.
