Blaze a trail and take a spin with Marin Bayview 24! This bike's geometry is specifically designed for teenagers. Classified as MTB, this bike is also capable to tackle any terrains, from the smooth to the rough ones. It is the perfect bike for an incredible riding experience with your family and friends!

Frame and Suspension

The young adult specification makes this bike built with 13" Series 1 6061 aluminum frame. Besides its smaller size from the general bikes, it is still thoughtfully engineered to fulfill teenagers' riding needs of a robust and durable bicycle. The frame geometry makes riding more comfortable and enjoyable with a lightweight frame. The frame features a disc mount and a 135mm dropout on the seat stay. To support the durability, a SR Suntour XCT Jr. 24" suspension fork is paired with the frame. Featuring 50mm of suspension travel, the fork reduces and absorbs shocks while bumping on rough terrains. The fork also has preload an adjustable coil spring as the core part of this component.

Groupsets

One of the core components to support the bike operation is the drivetrain. Shimano groupset delivers a reliable performance on every ride. This groupset utilizes 7-speed Shimano Altus as the rear derailleur which is connected to Shimano Revo Twist shifter lever. Thus, the riders could set up the gear up to 7 options based on their riding needs. For the braking system, this bike is also equipped with the reliable Tektro MD280 mechanical disc brakes. Crisp shifting, reliable maneuverability, and responsive handling, all can be found in Marin Bayview Trail 24.

Other Features

As it is specifically made for teenagers, it uses 24” wheels. The bike rolls on a pair of 24 x 2.25” Vee Tires with crown gem and wire bead. Furthermore, this bike is also completed with Kids Specific Nylon Pedal and Marin Kids MTB Saddle.
