MAINTENANCE
KCC ZIP MAINTENANCE & CARE
The Scape Frame Bag features an innovative KCC zip. The toothless zipper prevents snags and guarantees a waterproof seal.
The function of the slider is to join the two rails and seal the zip mechanism - it is an element that works with precision, so heavy or inappropriate use of the zip could cause a “raised zipper rail”, this may not allow a perfectly sealed closure of the zip. In this situation the zip is not broken, you can easily put the sliding rails back into place by pressing them together with your fingers.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR CARE AND USE
- After use or after a long period of storage, clean both inside and the outside of the slider rails
with a wet cloth, and then wipe dry.
- Take care to open and close the zip by pulling the slider parallel to the direction of the zip.
- Open and close the zip with the slider making sure that the slider is sealing properly.
- If you notice a raised zipper rail closure at some point, be aware that the zipper is not broken,
but must be closed more carefully.
- Close the zip and, using your finger, push the zipper rail inside the rail.
