Frame and Suspension

As Trail bike, Marin Bobcat Trail 3 is constructed from a lightweight Series 2 6061 butted and hydroformed aluminum frame with a modern trail geometry. The fastback seat stay design improves vertical compliance without forgoing the power transfer. The frame is integrated with a 120 mm SR Suntour XCM fork to absorb shocks on rough terrains. This fork is equipped with hydraulic lockout. The frame also features a rear rack mount to support your trail adventures.

Groupset

Shimano Altus 2x8 speed drivetrain makes changing gears easy and smooth. As for brakes, the Bobcat Trail 3 is equipped with Tektro hydraulic disc brakes, which are very responsive in all weather conditions, including in mud and wet trails.

Other features

Good news for those who just kick the first ride to the mountain, cross-country or trail experience. The Marin Bobcat Trail 3 features Schwalbe Tough Tom designed specifically for rougher trails. It is available in 27.5"" and 29"" depending on your height and riding style. The square taper bottom bracket with sealed cartridge bearing will prevent mud, dirt, and water from coming in.
