Frame and Suspension
The Siskiu T8 is built around the lightweight yet durable ALX Alloy frame with Boost and FAUX bar Suspension System. The Boost unleashes major improvements, where it is able to reduce flex under heavy loads and features a unibody pivot bridge that stiffens the rear wheel, providing you ultimate control to the bike. It also comes with internal routing for keeping the cables steady and intact. The frame is finished off with tapered headset, rear thru axle, and 140 mm / 150 mm travel fork. Reducing shocks and bumps won’t be a problem since dampening duties are handled by Rockshox Revelation air fork. It has 3 position compressions for enjoying a carefree riding experience.
Groupset
Geared with 1x11 Shimano XT-SLX drivetrain, the Siskiu T8 is powered with amazing series of groupset. The Shimano XT 8000 rear derailleur is attached with a massive 46T rear cassette, providing wide gear range for riders to glide up those steep climbs. The Prowheel crankset comes with chain retention to eliminate the need for bulky chain, giving a nice clean look for the bike. There are 11 speed combination to accommodate during climbs and descents. For braking performance, this mountain bike is supported with Shimano BR MT500 hydraulic disc brake system that is utterly safe and responsive to use.
Other Features
Polygon understands the importance of creating a fast and reliable mountain bike while still maintaining the riders’ comfort. Hence, the Siskiu T8 utilizes the Polygon’s Wheel Fit Size System where each frame size is paired with the wheel size that fits best for the riders. 29er wheels are paired with size M and larger, meanwhile 27.5” wheels are paired with size M and smaller. The Siskiu T8 rolls on a pair of Entity XL2 29mm rim and Schwalbe Nobby Nic tires to give you extra protection when climbing and hitting the coarse surfaces. A Tranz X-150 m dropper seat post and Entity Xpert cockpit are attached for more ride efficiency and comfort.
