Light-weight and Stylish ALX XC Frame
Constructed with ALX super light 6061 hydro formed aluminum frame by Polygon, this cross-country bike frame was heat treated, hydro formed and butted tubing to give an optimal strength to weight ratio. Polygon’s mark of craftsmanship can be seen on the smooth welding of the bike, resulting in a more stylish look. The clean look of the bike is also supported by the internal cable routing technology.
Designed with tapered head tube, this features more stability for the rider while on the terrain as the steering is more rigid. SR Suntour XCM-HLO with 120mm travel is chosen to dampen the road and give the stability of riding to the rider. Riders can also utilize lockout and preload features to adjust the bike to the terrain that it’s crossing and making the fork more durable.
Extra Comfort with Wheel Fit Size System and 2x Groupset
Choosing a bike that doesn’t suit body proposition and riding sure is exhausting. To make the ride more enjoyable, Xtrada 5 is utilizing Wheel Fit Size System - this technology presents a lineup which each frame size is offered with wheel size that perfectly fits the rider for better efficiency and optimum riding. There are two options for the wheel size: 27.5” and 29”. The 27.5” wheels are paired with Small (S) to Large (L) size bikes and 29” wheels are paired with Medium (M) to X-Large (XL) size.
Equipped with the new Boost hub spacing, this feature allows for a stiffer wheel with more tyre clearance and allows shorter chainstays that makes the back of the bike a lot easier to flick around corners.
This mountain bike is equipped with Shimano Deore M4100 2x10 groupset. This groupset offers better performance on climbs, so the rider can be more confident in exploring the unknown terrain. The wider range that the groupset enables the rider to ride in a wide variety of terrain.
