Frame and Suspension

Polygon Sierra Oosten has a classic geometry design. The upright seating position allows riders to ride comfortably even when wearing long dresses or skirts. The frame is made of AL6 City Aluminum frame. Unlike other vintage bikes that use steel frames which are heavy and tend to flex under pressure, the Sierra Oosten aluminum frame is lighter and stiffer, making the bike easy to ride on even when going uphill.

Groupsets

When it comes to groupset, the Sierra Oosten provides a similar capability as that of a mountain bike. Rather than using 6 or 7-speed drivetrain that is outdated and difficult to the service system, Polygon Sierra Oosten features 8-speed combination drivetrain. This is also supported by Shimano Altus derailleur for an effortless gear-shifting experience. Slowing down or speeding up will not require too much energy, so you can still look fresh while riding around on this bike.

Other Features

The braking system is using alloy V-brakes. These linear pull brakes offer a strong grip on the tires and will not flex on steep trails. Therefore, the Sierra Oosten is very safe even when used on rough terrains. For additional comfort, the city bike is equipped with the 700c set of wheels and double wall alloy rims to keep the bike light and strong. Adding a modern twist is a rear rack and a wicker basket where you can put your groceries.
