Frame and Suspension
Polygon’s special take in creating this tandem bike has resulted in an exquisite geometry design. Made from AL6, the frame is light yet strong and durable. In fact, it is one of the lightest in the market. The lightweight feature makes this bike not only easy to ride, but also easy to mount to a rear car rack. So whenever you want to go outside and bring this bike, you can do it without hassles. The fork is made of Hi-Ten rigid fork that ensures stiffness and stability for a more convenient ride.
Groupset
Featuring 24-speed Shimano Altus mix groupset with huge 11-32 speed rear cassette, you can pace up the bike easily and go through the steepest uphills and downhills. This is definitely a surprise considering Tandem is not a mountain bike, but is still geared with a powerful groupset that has similar level to the mountain bike. To keep the chain mechanism simpler, the Impression AX tandem bike also has eccentric bottom brackets that allows easy pedaling. As the name shows, this bike features disc brakes mechanism for a more consistent and powerful braking in all conditions.
Other Features
The best part of having a tandem bike is its togetherness and fun experience that you will never have in any other kind of bike. To ensure a smooth and joyous ride, the bike is equipped with 27.5” rims and balloon tires, which are wider than normal MTB tires, for increased comfort.
