Frame and Suspension

Marin San Anselmo DS1 is equipped with a robust step through hydroformed aluminum frame. Its frame design also supports the Women’s Fit Geometry to better fit women riders. Built with SR Suntour NEX 63mm travel suspension fork, this bike can absorb and reduce shocks on rough terrains, yet still light and convenient for surface riding.

Groupsets

The groupset built on San Anselmo DS1 combines 3-speed Shimano Tourney as the front derailleur and 7-speed Shimano Tourney as the rear derailleur. This combination brings up to 21 gear options to be operated by the riders. Those options could be easily set in the riders’ hand through Shimano EF41 shift lever. Moreover, the braking system utilizes a responsive Tektro MD280 mechanical disc brake with 160 mm rotor. This combination enables the riders to stop smoothly, responsively, yet controllable in all conditions.

Other Features

For the wheelset of the San Anselmo DS1, a set of Kenda Kahn 700Cx40 knob tires is equipped along with durable aluminum double wall rims and stainless-steel spokes. The collaboration of 700C tires with strong double wall rims makes the surfaces riding become more stable. Concurrently, its 40 mm wide tires make this bike possible to adapt to the rocky and bumpy terrains. As this bike is also built to overcome dirt and wet surfaces, its seatpost is designed to be compatibly fitted with fender. And for the long-haul riding, the riders could also put racks or rear carrier as the additional accessories on this bike.
