Frame and Suspension
The Pine Mountain 2 is structured from Columbus Thron Butted and Formed CrMo frame with Boost compatible dropouts. To improve comfort in a long trip, the bike uses WTB Ranger TCS Fast/Light 27.5x2.8” tires. The frame's minimalist design does not minimize its quality and capability. It can run well on a long trip up to more than 800 miles rocky terrain.
Groupset
The Pine Mountain 2 comes to fit your needs. Equipped with Shimano XT Shadow Plus 11-speed, the bike delivers an excellent performance with a powerful speed. A bronze-colored hand-brazed is attached to the chain and the down tube, making internal routing possible while keeping the rear brake and the rear derailleur cable organized neatly. The shift lever also has the ability to shift smoothly when accelerating or slowing down.

The details of Pine Mountain 2 Bike basically reflect Marin’s philosophy back in 1986. The Pine Mountain 2 merges old root and modern technology. If you notice, a glossy bit badge is inserted in the seat tubes as the heritage of the old Marin bike. The bike is paired with Naild 12-3-9 locking quick release thru-axle tech. When the lever is pointing at 12 o’clock, the thru axle slides into the frame to ensure that lever is not closing. When it turns to 3 o’clock, the wheel is securely locked into the frame. The lever is finally closed when it’s pointing at 9 o’clock. Accompanying your long journey, the bike includes three bottle bosses, full fender, and rack mounts.
